We answer frequently asked questions

You can rent your desired tipper for a period of 1 to 24 months. The rental period is agreed in the rental contract.

Yes, the rental period can be extended if the tipper trailer is available.

It is possible to take over the tipper trailer after the rental period.

The price depends on the rental period and the rented tipper trailer. We will be happy to make you an individual offer. The first rental installment is due before the trailer is handed over. For rental contracts that extend beyond one month, further rental installments are due in advance on the 1st of each month. A security deposit of 2,500 euros must be paid before the trailer is handed over. This deposit is paid by SEPA direct debit.

The rental price includes 8,000 free kilometers per month.

MEILLER will cover wear and tear costs, e.g. for tires and brakes, if the vehicle is handled properly. The renter is covered by motor vehicle liability insurance with maximum cover of EUR 100 million for damage caused by the renter or third parties. There is also fully and partially comprehensive insurance with an excess of EUR 2,500 in each case.

The tipper is returned to Eschen Nutzfahrzeuge. The condition of the tipper is documented there in a handover report. The trailer must be returned in a roadworthy and operationally safe condition and completely cleaned.

Our rental trailers are suitable for transporting sand, gravel and excavated material on construction sites. Heavy rock, rock demolition and reinforced concrete demolition as well as highly abrasive or corrosive materials must not be transported.

MEILLER RENT bodies are always equipped with a free telematics package. This is the TC Trailer Gateway from IDEM. This is connected to the EBS system of the tipping semi-trailer. As a renter, you benefit from data on speeds, GPS location, mileage, landing status, power supply, error codes and EBS data. You can use this information to optimize your processes and ultimately work even more economically. The use of telematics is optional.
