3-sided tipper: The 3-sided tipper is a type of special body in which all sides are movable except for the front. A hydraulic system is installed on the chassis with which the loading area, a so-called tipper body, can be tilted in 3 different directions (left, right, rear). This is usually found on solo vehicles. However, trailers can also be equipped with such a body. These commercial vehicles are often used in the construction industry, e.g. for deliveries to building sites. All-wheel drive is usually advantageous for this, but there are also vehicles with only one driven axle. Depending on their nature and requirements, these 3-sided tippers can also be fitted with crane superstructures. In the case of hooklifts, for example, you can fall back on what are known as city trucks. These are usually designed for chassis from 7.5 to 12.5 tons and have a lifting capacity of approx. 5 - 7 tons. Container sizes from 3500 mm to approx. 5000 mm can be transported. Their advantage is their low weight and maneuverability, especially on narrow construction sites or in urban traffic. Used and new medium-duty roll-off tippers are suitable for container sizes up to approx. 6000 mm. These usually have a lifting capacity of between 7 and 10 tons and are suitable for chassis from 12 to 16 tons. Roll-off tippers with a lifting capacity of between 14 and 30 t are suitable for chassis from 18 to 30 t. Here you can drive containers with a size between 4000 mm and 7250 mm or 7500 mm.
The range of skip handlers is similarly extensive and versatile. You can choose between skip handlers with a lifting capacity of 4 to 19 tons. These can transport containers with a volume of 4 m³ or 5 m³ up to 20 m³.
